The team at Hathaway Styles have spent a great deal of time trying to bring you highly detailed images which highlight the products intrinsic merits. Although we feel our product images are of a high quality they can vary depending on your computer screen settings and limitations. We therefore cannot guarantee product images to be an absolutely accurate representation of our actual products. Product images have been magnified and products shown are not actual size.

Special Sizes

The vast majority of our rings are offered in sizes I - Q for ladies and R - Z for men, however we can make rings to any size but they are non-returnable (there may be an additional charge for certain sizes). If you would like to order a special sized ring then please phone us on 0121 2331468 or e-mail us for an initial quote.

Weights

Any weights shown regarding a stones (diamond, ruby, sapphire etc) carat weight will be the minimum weight that is used for the particular piece of jewellery. Any weights quoted for a metal (shown in grams) will be subject to a 5% margin due manufacturing tolerances.

Hallmarks

All of our precious metal rings (gold/platinum/palladium etc) are independently hallmarked at either the Birmingham or Sheffield Assay Offices.

Engraving

Due to the personalised nature of engraved jewellery we cannot fulfil any return enquiries, as an engraved item will be very difficult for us to re-sell.

Making a Purchase

It should be noted that all of our products are subject to availability, all of the measurements shown are approximate and any weights shown are minimum weights.

All prices are Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate.

We accept credit card payments from Mastercard and VISA, and these are verified by Mastercard Secure Code and Verified by VISA. We also accept American Express and Debit Cards.

You may send your credit/debit card information via phone, mail or over the Internet.

We accept orders on the website from both the UK and EU/International orders.

Shipping and Handling

Delivery is Free on all wedding rings for customers within the UK, whilst EU/International Orders are subject to a delivery charge of £15 (order total up to £250) or £35 (order total above £250).

Delivery Schedule

All UK orders are sent using the Royal Mail's Next Day Special Delivery Service.

The approximate time taken to make a particular item is indicated on every product page.

We will e-mail you to let you know how the order is coming along and let you know when your order has been dispatched. If you have not received your order within 5 days of being notified of its dispatch, then please contact us on 0121 2331468 or email us.

If your address is within mainland UK you should receive your order within 1 day of receiving our dispatch notice sent by e-mail. If you live in other parts of the UK then you should expect your order to arrive within 2-4 working days after receiving your dispatch notice.

EU/International Orders are fully insured and take on average 5 working days to arrive.

Tax Charges

Orders made from the UK and countries within the EU will have VAT added at the prevailing rate.

International orders can claim back the VAT rate by entering the discount code “VATOFF”.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

Hathaway Styles Ltd guarantees their products for a period of twelve months. We will repair any item that is found to be defective in any way and is due to a fault in manufacture.

This guarantee excludes any damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse or abuse.

Any guarantees that we offer will be voided if you allow a third party to work on a ring that we have made for you.

Faulty goods will need to be returned to us for inspection, you must arrange for delivery to us once you have notified us by email or by telephoning or writing to us. Any problems will be dealt with quickly, either by repair or in extreme circumstances will be fully replaced. If a product is found to be faulty we will pay for its return delivery, non-faulty goods will require delivery costs to be covered by you.

This guarantee does not affect your statuary rights under the Sale of Goods Act.

Returns Policy

Hathaway Styles Ltd offers a 14 day money back guarantee on all products, except special sizes and personalised jewellery such as engraving.

If you wish to return an item you will have to do so at your own cost. Your parcel will be your responsibility until it reaches us, so we recommend using Insured Delivery. We will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods (not including the delivery charges for EU/International orders).

We do ask that the product(s) are in the same condition as they were when received by you.

If a product is found to be faulty we will offer a full refund or replacement at your request.

Whatever your reason for returning our jewellery, it must be returned to us within 14 days after receiving the product. Information on how to return an item can be found at our Returns Procedure. You will receive your refund within 10 working days.
